Liability Coverage
Bodily Injury Liability – Injuries that you (the insured) cause to someone else is covered under this part of an Motorcycle insurance policy. The minimum liability insurance coverage available for purchase in California is 15/30. However, we recommend that you choose liability insurance coverage amounts that are much higher than the minimum available in California.
Property Damage Liability – Damage caused by you (the insured) to someone else’ property such as their automobile, motorcycle, truck, house, or fence is covered by the Property Damage section of your automobile insurance policy, This coverage also assists in protecting your assets if a lawsuit arises from a collision. The minimum coverage amount in California is $5,000.
Collision Coverage – Collision coverage covers damage caused to the owners vehicle from a collision caused by another vehicle or object. The deductible is the amount you choose to pay upfront (if any) before the insurance policy pays. The higher the deductible chosen the lower the collision coverage cost within the California Automobile Insurance policy.

The first number represents the bodily injury liability maximum the insurance policy will pay for any one person injured in a collision. The second number represents the maximum amount the insurance policy will pay for all injuries in one collision.The third number represents the maximum amount the insurance policy will pay out for property damage in any one collision.
Comprehensive Coverage – Comprehensive coverage covers damaged caused to the insureds Motorcycle from risks such as theft, fire, falling objects, earthquake, flood, missiles, explosion, riot and civil unrest. The deductible is the amount you choose to pay upfront (if any) before the Motorcycle insurance policy pays. The higher the deductible chosen the lower the comprehensive coverage costs within the Motorcycle insurance policy.
Medical Coverage – Medical payments coverage pays for the medical and funeral expenses for you or others hurt or killed in an Motorcycle collision while riding in or driving your car or truck. Claims against this coverage include all reasonable hospital, surgical, chiropractor, X-rays, dental, professional nursing, prosthetic, and funeral expenses. It also covers you or family members if you /they are hit by a vehicle when you are walking or if you are riding in another car or truck. The coverage is often limited to medical care you get in the first one, two, or three years after the collision and is limited to a specific dollar amount. This is not required Motorcycle coverage in California.
Uninsured /Under insured Motorist – Uninsured / Under-insured motorist covers the insured (you) for your bodily injury caused by a hit-and-run driver or an at-fault driver who has no or not enough liability insurance. This coverage is not required for Motorcycle insurance policy in California.
